Washington County, situated in the heart of Texas Bluebonnet country, is one of the two prototypes for the CLEAR project. The local steering committee is made up from participants from the Texas Cooperative Extension Service, Washington County Appraisal District, Chamber of Commerce, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and private citizens. A 37 member panel made up of community members assists the project and provides directional input.
